Tyrone Yates founded Yates Landscapes in 2013 from a yard on Piesang Valley Road in Plettenberg Bay. A qualified draughtsman, he is hands-on with every project, from the first site walk to the final handover, and his name is on every garden and build the team delivers.
His experience reaches well beyond the home garden. Tyrone began as a course superintendent at The River Club in Sandton, studied turf grass management at Pretoria Technikon and Michigan State University, and spent time at Augusta National before installing South Africa’s first sub-surface aeration system. He has project managed and built courses designed by Gary Player, Ernie Els and Greg Norman, and has built a World Cup football pitch. That same precision with levels, drainage and turf now goes into every home, estate and renovation across the Western and Eastern Cape.
Customer satisfaction, quality workmanship and attention to detail guide every job, and each landscape is shaped around the specific needs of the client.
